Harrison Cheerleaders Win Section Title

This year's group of 25 cheer/athletes led by senior captains Christie Suozzo and Allie Fuller placed first at the third annual WPDRCCA Conferance B, in the Large Varsity Division held at Somers High school on Nov. 12.

Precise choreography, show stopping tumbling skills combined with an infectious dance routine showed off the team's athletic abilities. The cheer/athletes perfect their routine at two to three-hour daily practices. 

Coached by Rosa Acocella, Renia Medina and Kamisi Simmions the team is driven to once again capture the County Center first place title and rank at the UCA Regional and Nationals Qualifier held on the Hofstra Campus on Dec. 3. There is a saying in the cheer world, "wanna know what champions look like? Gimme two minutes and 30 seconds and I'll show you." - Megan Done, Ontario, California.
