HHS Senior Michael Amicucci Named to Golden Dozen Team

Harrison High School senior Michael Amicucci was named to this year’s Golden Dozen team, an event that honors Westchester area athletes for their performance on the field, in the classroom, and in their communities.

Amicucci has been a three year starter for the Huskies as well as one of the team’s captains this year played running back, cornerback, and kick returner.  He is also on track to graduate this spring with Cum Laude Honors (93-94% weighted grade point average), has been a part of the NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete program, and played viola in the Harrison High School Orchestra. When not in the classroom, on the field, or in the weight room, Amicucci volunteers his time at the Cottage School, playing sports with children from underprivileged or abusive homes.  He has also participated in Midnight Run and Walkathon for Pediatric Cancer research.

For nearly half a century, the Westchester Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame has cited football standouts for both athletic and academic excellence with its Scholar-Athlete “Golden Dozen” team.
