HHS Senior Danny DeBois to Represent Team USA in Thailand
Harrison High School senior Danny DeBois has been selected by the National Forensic League to represent team USA at the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) which will take place in Bangkok, Thailand this August.
Danny, who is the #1 Lincoln-Douglas debater in the country is one of nine American students selected after a nationwide search and application process. A few weeks ago he capped off his fall debate season with a win at the Princeton University Tournament. He also captured the title at both the Apple Valley Minnesota National Championship and The Glennbrooks Tournament in Chicago and is the first debater in history to hold all three titles at once.
Danny recently placed 3rd overall and was named the tournament’s 2nd place speaker at the Victory Briefs Tournament held at the Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles, CA. Danny, who was representing both Harrison High School and the State of New York was among a field of 116 debaters from 11 states.

Danny has been accepted to Harvard University for the fall of 2014.
