HHS Boys Varsity Track and Field Win Westchester County Championships

For the first time in Harrison High School’s history, the Boys Indoor Track and Field Team won the Indoor Westchester County Championship.  The team will share co-championship honors with New Rochelle High School who tied Harrison with 61 points.

Harrison competed against schools from Mount Vernon, Yonkers, White Plains, and New Rochelle – all of whom have graduating classes that are double, triple and even quadruple Harrison’s size.

“As a coaching staff, we knew the boys team had a chance in the beginning of the season to contend only if all of our scoring athletes could bring their “A Game” on the same day,” said Coach Dominic Zanot.  “Through the leadership of our senior captains: Ben Adler, Giovanni Valdes-Fauli, Alexis Ledesma, and Jeremy Altamuro, our boys performed with focus and determination from the first event until the last.”
