Harrison High School Varsity Cheerleaders Named Grand Champions

The Harrison High School Varsity Cheerleading squad captured first place and the title of Grand Champions at the Mahopac High School Cheerleading competition on January 11th.  The Junior Varsity squad also nabbed an impressive 2nd place victory at the tournament.

The HHS Cheerleaders have had a successful winter competitive season taking 2nd place in the Westchester County Center Championships in late November, winning the New Rochelle Cheerleading Championships at the beginning of December, and placing 2nd at this past weekend's competition at Preston High School.

At the Pocono Regionals, the Varsity squad earned 8th place at this National qualifying event, earning them the right to compete at the UCA Nationals in Orlando, Florida at Disneyworld in February. The Varsity and JV squads will compete at Putnam Valley High School on February 1st.

Congratulations Huskies!  Harrison is rooting for you!
