Secret Service, County PD Bring Christmas Cheer to Westchester Kids

With Christmas quickly approaching, kids at Arc of Westchester's Children's School for Early Development were treated to a special visit from Santa Claus last week.

Santa was escorted by members of the United States Secret Service and Westchester County Police Department, according to an announcement on Patch.

"Santa gave gifts to all of the children and officers brought two Labradors from the canine unit to spend time with the children," according to Arc of Westchester. "At Arc of Westchester's Gleeson-Israel Gateway Center, representatives from the U.S. Secret Service and Westchester County Police Department answered questions from nearly eighty self-advocates with developmental disabilities and autism about personal safety. The self-advocates also enjoyed checking out the Presidential limousine and spending time with the canine unit."
