Registration Open for Harrison ESL Classes

A registration session will be held on Oct. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Classes are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Registration is now open for English as a Second Language (ESL) courses being offered free of charge in the West Harrison Library.

The courses, which are offered through Westchester County Community College, debuted in Harrison earlier this year. The introductory classes offer basic-level English instruction to "start the process of learning and actively practicing basic vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening skills necessary for daily living, employment and post-secondary education", according to a library flyer.
