The Trent Tucker Celebrity Golf & Gala

- The Trent Tucker Celebrity Golf & Gala presented by the All 4 Kids Foundation & The Max Cure Foundation for pediatric cancer causes will begin on Saturday, September 8 through Monday, September 10, 2012. The weekend will kick-off on Saturday, September 8, at 6:30pm with a Private Tour of Ground Zero Memorial for the celebrities and sponsors of the event and has a confirmed list of some of the greatest athletes in history. On Sunday, September 9, the Red Carpet & Gala will begin at 7:00pm at STK located at 1114 Sixth Avenue on 43rd Street and will include celebrities, golfers, sponsors and guests that will enjoy dinner, open bar, a silent and live auction and live music from a surprise guest! On Monday, September 10, the Old Oaks Country Club located at 3100 Purchase Street – Purchase, NY, will host the Celebrity Golf Event. Registration will begin at 9:00am and shotgun at 11:00am. Each foursome will play with a celebrity participant and all participants will receive breakfast, lunch, on-course refreshments, cocktails and dinner reception. There will be an opportunity to enter the “Hole in One” contest and win a Porsche Carrera, win an all expense paid trip to Pebble Beach with the “Longest Drive” contest and participate in the live and silent auction. This event will benefit two great causes by raising funds and awareness to provide an educational and moral platform for the students of the Trent Tucker University Scholars Program and to raise money and awareness for the The Max Cure Foundation for pediatric cancer causes. Max Plotkin who is the inspiration behind The Max Cure Foundation, will be honored by the many great athletes and celebrities on hand including Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, Kris Humphries, Steve Weatherford, John Franco and John Starks to name a few. 

 

The All 4 Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) committed to educating at-risk youth academically, personally, socially and physically through a curriculum that expands their horizons and encourages them to participate in new areas of learning. This mission includes striving to develop the whole student’s mind so that they have the tools to make decisions that are intellectual and moral.  www.all4kidsfoundation.org

The Max Cure Foundation (MCF) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to advancing cures for pediatric cancers, funding the development of less toxic treatments for children, including the funding of an immune cell therapy lab at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center dedicated to alternative treatments for children battling the disease. MCF provides low-income families who are battling pediatric cancer emotional and financial support, while seeking to inspire children with the disease to face it with courage and bravery. www.maxcure.org
