Blood Drive

The Harrison Chamber of Commerce, Inc. & the Harrison EMS are reacting to the Haiti Earthquake Disaster by hosting a community-minded blood drive that will benefit the American Red Cross, that is sending steady blood supplies to Haiti.

Thomas Kane, Accounts Manager of Blood Donor Services, at the American Red Cross in White Plains said that type 'O Negative' blood is desperately needed but any type of blood donation made will be very much appreciated and will help replenish the low supply.  Blood supplies are still being shipped via our US Military to Haitian men, women & children who were seriously injured during the past two devastating earthquakes that occurred in early January 2010 and much more 'blood' needs to be donated by American residents like us to help them survive.
