The Friends of the Harrison Public Library are sponsoring A TASTE OF HARRISON to benefit the Harrison Public Library.
A TASTE OF HARRISON is scheduled for May 20, 2012 from 11:30am to 3pm and will be a walking tour of the downtown Harrison restaurants who are donating a sample of their cuisine to participants who have made a $20 donation to the Friends of the Library (children $10). The participants will be identified with a special wristband. To order your wristbands, call Mena Gambacorta at 835-0544 or Connie Perrotta at 315-1922 .
Almost all the restaurants in downtown Harrison have signed up for this event, and a final list will be released shortly.
There will be ample parking in the Commuter Parking Lots and Supervisor/Mayor Ronald Belmont is arranging for the Harrison Senior Transport minivan to be available.
