Manhattanville Students Raise Money to Send Local Kids to Broadway

The Duchesne Center for Religious and Social Justice at Manhattanville College will be sponsoring “My Dream,” a play that will be raising money to send underprivileged kids to a Broadway show.

The charity play is an extension of the Children’s Academy for Student Theater program the Duchesne Center has were underprivileged children participate in theater games, acting instruction, and improvisation techniques every Monday and Thursday night. After perfecting these skills the kids in the program create their own show.

“My Dream” will run Thursday, February 27 through Sunday, March 2 with all shows 8 p.m. in the Ex Theatre of Founders Hall at Manhattanville College. Contact Donnelly for more information.
