Harrison Council for the Arts Presents "Four Artists from the Reilly League" October 7 to November 2, 2012
Harrison Council for the Arts presents oil and watercolor paintings by “Four Artists from the Reilly League” at the Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Avenue, October 7 to November 2 with an opening reception October 13 from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
Alan Appel, Marilyn Hahn, Elizabeth Hiden and Pamela Tucker met in portrait sessions at Reilly League of Artists, a non-profit artist’s cooperative in White Plains. While sharing the practice of “working from life,” their paintings and pastels explore a variety of subjects including landscape, still life, botanical, portrait, and figure. This show reflects a sample of their individual attention and perspectives.
