From the award winning writers of When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail and Silkwood comes the hit play, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, that ran off-Broadway for almost three years, closing this past March.
Liz Smith declared that “Love, Loss, and What I Wore” is "so funny and so powerful; so dear and sweet; so remindful of our female wiles, our worries, our insecurities, our remembrances of mother, father, sisters, brothers, lovers." And the LA Times described the show as an "affirming chick outing that makes you want to rip off your Spanx and have another cosmo. Men...may come and go, but a killer outfit is forever. Even if you can't get into it anymore." The play is made up of many monologues that create a mosaic of all ages of life.
Four actresses share stories common to all women with both humor and sentiment. This production is directed by Larry Schneider. It will feature Karen Quinn-Panzer, Andrea Garmun, Kathy Files DiBiasi and Sarah Giggar.
Based on the book by Ilene Beckerman.
