Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

First Baptist Church of White Plains, Neighbor

Readings by adult church members and youth, and carols featuring musical selections from composer Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols.” Music by organist John Wolfe and The Festival Choir. In honor of Britten’s centenary, the Festival Choir will be joined by special guest singers from the White Plains-based choral ensemble Cantemus: Yamilet Cortes-Gil (soprano), Felecia Rivera (alto), Jeff Diones (tenor), and Audley Jackson (bass).  These events are made possible by a recent generous donation to the church’s music program in honor of late member and chorister Eugene M. Mohr. All are welcome.

Free parking in the church lots on Bryant Avenue, near the corner of North Street in White Plains.
