Egg Hunt, Multiple Meetings, Spring!

  • Children aged 2-8 are invited to an egg hunt on the West Harrison Village Green between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 20. Bring a basket or bag—and wear a bonnet. Hunts will be grouped by age and everyone will go home with some, guaranteed. Awards will be given for most original, beautiful and colorful bonnets.
  • The Town Board starts two days of meetings on Wednesday. The board starts with an executive session at 6 p.m. followed by the work session at 7:30 p.m. (The board's business meeting is March 21.)
  • The Planning Board starts at 7:30 p.m. too.
  • The Town Clerk has been offering evening hours once a month for people who can't get to Town Hall during the day. 7-8:30 p.m.
  • March 20 is the spring equinox: At 7:02 a.m. the sun will be directly over the equator. With sunrise at 6:59 a.m. and sunset at 7:08 p.m., night and day will be almost exactly the same length.
