2. Give Blood Today in New Rochelle

This time of year is always difficult for the American Red Cross because donated blood reserves often drop during the winter. The organization notes that this year's reserves are the lowest they've been in a decade.

Today you can help out by stopping by the blood drive taking place at the New York Sports Club (175 Huguenot St, New Rochelle) from 1 - 6 p.m.

3. Lake Street Gospel Church Bible Study

The Lake Street Gospel Church (720 Lake St., West Harrison) will hold a , beginning at 7:30 p.m. This group meets every Tuesday.

4. Sunny but Cold Today

Another cold day is on tap for today, with the National Weather Service is expecting sunny skies with a high of 28 degrees.

5. A Year Ago on Harrison Patch...Marissa Pagli Murdered on Manhattanville Campus

A year ago today  on the Manhattanville College campus. News of an arrest didn't break until two days later when Harrison Police announced that they had with second degree murder. Earlier this year Stacey Pagli , she is expected to serve 20 years in prison.
