Wake Up with Patch: Section I Playoffs, Local Pools Open

A look at five things to know the weekend of May 27.

1. Harrison Baseball and Softball Teams Compete in Section I Playoffs

The Harrison varsity softball team will start their playoff run this afternoon at 4:30 against Saunders at Harrison High School. The Harrison baseball team will play their second round game on the road at JFK High School.

2. Harrison Pools Open Saturday

Harrison's pools will open for the season on Saturday, so if you don't already have your recreation pass, be sure to sign up for one on Friday. The Recreation Department is located at town hall and is open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

3. Westchester County Beaches Open Saturday

Westchester County beaches will on Saturday. Glen Island, Playland Beach and Croton Point Beach will all be open from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. throughout Memorial Day weekend.

4. Memorial Service Honors Fallen Purchase Firefighters
