Wake Up with Patch: Little League Parade and a Benefit Concert

A look at five things to know this weekend.

1. Harrison Little League Parade

To celebrate opening day, the Harrison Little League will hold a parade from to on Friday starting at 6:30 p.m. A barbeque will follow.

2. MS Walk at Purchase College

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is holding a walk at starting with an 8 a.m. registration on Sunday. Proceeds from the event will go toward MS research.

3. Award-Winning Musicians Perform Benefit Concert for Japan

The Purchase College Performing Arts Center is hosting a Sunday from 2 - 4:30 p.m.

The concert was organized by a student group called Save Japan. The afternoon will include performances by 30 award-winning musicians.

Tickets are $30/adults and $15/children, with the proceeds going to the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, which will send the money to the areas of greatest need in Japan.

4. New Chinese Restaurant to Open Saturday in Purchase

China White, a new Chinese Restaurant at 578 Anderson Hill Rd. in Purchase, is expected to open Saturday night. To read more about the restaurant, on Harrison Patch.
