A look at five things to know this weekend.
1. Part of Halstead Ave. Closed Friday Morning
A funeral procession for Joseph Acocella, Jr. will take place this morning along part of Halstead Ave. Halstead Ave. will be closed from 9 a.m. 12 p.m. from Harrison Ave. to Oak St.
Town Hall will also be closed until noon in observance. A funeral service for the late town clerk will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory's Church in Harrison.

2. Friends Remember Acocella

4. New Art Exhibit at Library
Until September 9, the Harrison Public Library will have on display paintings by Jim Maciel. The exhibit is entitled, "." The library is open from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
5. A Year Ago on Harrison Patch...No Left Turn at Dunkin Donuts
On Aug. 12, 2010, Harrison Patch reported that the Harrison Town Board passed a regulation that would at the Dunkin Donuts and CVS on Halstead Ave.
