Wake Up with Patch: Cheerleader Car Wash, Animal Rescue Fundraiser

A look at five things to know this weekend.

1.HHS Cheerleader Car Wash

The Harrison High School cheerleading squad will hold their first of the season on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Harrison Avenue School parking lot. The rain date is Sunday, July 10.

2. West Harrison Farmers Market

The West Harrison Farmers Market will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Lake St.

3. Strongest Athlete Competition to Raise Money for Animal Rescue

, (75 Calvert St, Harrison) will host the on Sunday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

All proceeds will go to the Rescue Ink animal rescue organization. Dogs will be available for adoption at the event.

4. Purchase College Founders Day Festival

The Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College will celebrate its late founder Roy R. Neuberger with the Founders Day Festival from 1 - 4 p.m. Sunday. The event is free and open to the public and will include art, music and food.
