1. Spring Arrives to Pepsico Farmers Market

Fresh greens, herbs, tea, wine and local dairy products will all be on sale today at the Pepsico Farmers Market (800 Anderson Hill Rd., Purchase) from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

2. Debut Play Perfomance By Purchase Repetory Theater Tonight

The Purchase Repetory Theatre will perform Bertolt Brecht’s Mother Courage and Her Children tonight from 8 - 10 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center.

Set against the Civil War, a black woman tries to profit from selling goods to both sides to protect her adult children from their own heroic impulses. This bold translation of Brecht’s classic was commissioned by the Public Theatre and this adaptation was created by the author of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered When the Rainbow is Enuf.

Tonight is the first performance of the play, which will run nightly until May 1. Tickets are $20 and can be bought at www.artscenter.org.

3. Varsity Boys Lacrosse Game at HHS Tonight

The Harrison High School Varsity Boys Lacrosse team will host Horace Greeley at home tonight, starting at 6:30 p.m.

4. An Update on the HCSD Budget Proposal, Board of Education Candidates Announced

5. A Year Ago on Harrison Patch...Truck Veers Off I-687 Ramp

On Apr. 26, 2010, Harrison Patch covered news of a truck in Harrison. It fell into the Hutchinson River and authorities had to close off the ramp for several hours. No one was hurt in the accident.
