1. It's All About Toddlers at the HARRISON Library This Morning
The Harrison Public Library will host two free toddler groups this morning. From 10:30 - 11 a.m., Storyland will cater to little ones ages three to five. From 11:15 - 11:45 a.m., Circle Time for Tots will entertain younger kids ages one to three.
2. Messy Commute Expected TONIGHT as Storm ApproachesA storm is bringing into Thursday morning, which means that tonight's commute home could be dangerous. What better reason to cut out of work early than to get home safe?

4. Childrens' Literacy Volunteers SoughtJCY-Westchester Community Partners is seeking county residents to participate in their childrens' literacy program, 'The Open Book,' which operates in conjunction with the national 'Reach Out and Read' program.
Volunteers are sought to read to kids in the pediatric unit at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, as well as to host book donation drives.

On Jan. 26, 2010, Harrison Patch ran a story about Mayor Joan Walsh consulting a New York State comptroller regarding a in the town council's voting on a new police chief.
Because candidate Anthony Marraccini (who was later voted in as chief) was married to Councilwoman Marlane Amelio's niece, Walsh was concerned that her vote could be a conflict of interest.
