A parade through West Harrison helped mark the 100-year anniversary of the West Harrison Fire Department Sunday.

Hundreds of people attended the parade, check back later this morning for photos from the event.

The Harrison League of Women Voters will host a next month featuring Harrison's local political candidates.

The event is scheduled for October 25 at the Harrison Veterans Building.

After a soggy weekend, the rain clouds are expected to leave the area today.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 20 percent chance of rain this afternoon, but it will otherwise be partly sunny.
