Meditation Demonstration at Harrison Public Library

Meditation has a long history of practice in a religious context, as a way to self-regulate the mind and focus on the principles of spiritual growth.

Increasingly, meditation is being utilized by people for its health benefits including the reduction of high blood pressure and stress as well as for depression and anxiety.

This Wednesday, June 5, at 7 p.m., the Harrison Public Library will host a two-part series with Dr. Andrew Vidich, an educator and author on meditation, spirituality and healthy living.  Dr. Vidich will demonstrate a meditation technique that will help reduce stress and increase concentration.

The second part of the series will take place on June 19 at 7 p.m.
