LoHud Covers Political Trespass Incident in its Own Parking Lot

Jim Russell, who ran against Congresswoman Nita Lowey in the 2010 elections, was picked up at 1 Gannett Drive by Harrison police yesterday.

Apparently Jim Russell, who ran against Nita Lowey for the 18th District seat in Congress in 2010, had been seen several times hanging around The Journal News headquarters in Harrison. 

According to the newspaper, he had been warned not to come back.

When he did, on Thursday, Harrison police picked him up. Reporter Rich Liebson and Photo Editor Carrie Yale captured the event.

According to the paper, he was released after the Harrison town justice ordered him to stay away from 1 Gannett Drive.
