LMK Dance Club Donates $1,500 to Food Pantry

Middle school girls donate money raised during the club's talent show this spring.

A group of students has stepped in to help a charitable Harrison organization in a time of need.

The middle school's dance club recently dropped off a $1,500 check to the community services office. The money will be used to stock the Harrison Food Pantry, which has been struggling to keep up with this summer.

The cash was raised during a talent show this spring that included more than 30 performances. The dance club also  to the food pantry last summer.

The food pantry currently serves 99 local families throughout the year, but typically sees a decrease in donations during the holiday-free summer months.
