Humane Society Spotlight: Wrinkles Hoping For a New Home

Our weekly spotlight of a pet from the Westchester Humane Society in Harrison.

Wrinkles says, "Let's play ball! Come run with me!" No harm in asking, right?!

Wrinkles is wishing for a new home and would love some siblings too—human or canine! Given his temperament and personality, the wait shouldn't be too long.

Wrinkles was brought to our shelter when a local hoarder was forced to relinquish her many animals. Poor Wrinkles, along with his sister Kelsey, were kept in small cages day and night. Wrinkles barely received enough food and water, and the living conditions were dismal.

Fortunately, this loving dog has put his past behind him; he is very excited about his future! Wrinkles is a shelter favorite. He is calm, friendly, and affectionate.

This Carolina/Shepherd mix is an amazingly happy and well-adjusted dog. His submissive nature lends itself to a home full of life and love. Wrinkles should be playing Frisbee at the dog park, and making the other dogs jealous with his head-turning good looks!

Wrinkles is crate-trained, and still working on his basic commands. He has come a long way in just a few months and we are very proud of him! He will sit, lay down and walks well on a leash. He is fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and dewormed.

The adoption fee is $130.

Warning: Wrinkles is a snuggler! He’ll help to keep your bed warm at night—no cold feet with this companion! Come visit Wrinkles at the Westchester Humane Society. The address is 7 Harrison Avenue, Harrison NY 10528. The phone number is 914-835-3332. Thank you!
