Humane Society Spotlight: Amigo

Every week Patch spotlights a pet from the Westchester Humane Society in Harrison.

The following is a weekly article contributed by the Westchester Humane Society.

Is your house feeling a little too big lately? Kids back to school, visitors gone home, and no one to play with? Meet Amigo! This affectionate tuxedo boy is all you’ll need.

Some cats bring out the best in their human companions. They touch you, then make you want to hold, love, and reassure them that life will be wonderful soon. Amigo is an easy cat to love—so gentle and sweet! He has large eyes, and an even bigger heart!

This cat has probably never received the attention that he deserves. He acts so surprised when someone stops to pet or play with him—as if this form of kindness has been way too infrequent in his short life. His face lights up when you call out his name. Our Amigo will bring out your maternal (or paternal) urges big time! He is an extremely docile, loving, affectionate and appreciative little love machine. He's great with other cats too, and would thrive in a multi-cat household. Take advantage—you've got an angel here that will help you get your wings!

Amigo is neutered, has received his yearly vaccinations and dewormer, and tested negatively for FIV/Feline Leukemia. He's ready, willing and able!
