Harrison Team Advances in 'The Challenge'

A group of five Harrison High School students continue to preform well in MSG Varsity's quiz based game show.

After outdueling Pearl River in the first round of a locally televised game show, a group of five Harrison High School students will again put their knowledge to the test later this spring when they take on Rye Neck High School.

Harrison's "Challenge Team" is a group of students selected by advisors Rachel Voss and Heath Kaplan to compete in MSG Varsity's annual quiz show that places 192 area high schools in a tournament style competition. Team members answer a series of questions from various categories and compete individually by region.

Harrison's first match up against Pearl River aired Dec. 21, and interested viewers watched the local team cruise to an easy victory. The team's matchup against Rye Neck will air on March 7 at 6:30 p.m.
