Harrison 'Eggstravaganza' Moved to Sunday

Harrison's annual easter egg hunt will be held Sunday on the West Harrison green.

This weekend's "eggstravaganza" event in West Harrison has been pushed back to Sunday afternoon because of expected bad weather.

Harrison's recreation department will host egg hunts on the West Harrison Village Green starting at 1 p.m. Sunday. The event had been scheduled for Saturday morning.

The event will also include a visit from the Easter Bunny and prizes for the biggest, prettiest, most colorful and most original bonnet. Registration for the bonnet competition is at 12:30 p.m.

Separate egg hunts will be held for six different age groups and all children under eight years old are invited.

Children are asked to bring their own bag for collecting eggs.
