Three For All, Steve "Budgie" Werner, and Anthony and Carl Fragnito, gave Silver Lake a preview of their second CD, and most of their first, this past Sunday on the Village green. The large crowd that assembled for the first ever double shot of rock at The Lake, heard the original, soulful sounds of the hottest new band out there. The first shot would have been a great concert unto itself. The band was excellent. But there was more to come! After a very brief intermission, Hindenberg took the stage. The best Led Zeppelin tribute band I've heard, made the crowd feel like they were at a Zep concert. Felix Hanemann, Karl Cochran, Mike McEwan and Steve "Budgie" Werner gave the crowd over two hours of awesome tunes, amazing musicianship, and a smoke machine that kept the audience riveted. Steve "Budgie" Werner plays drums for both bands! His solo in "Moby Dick" would have made John Bonham smile. The second shot of this rock double shot was incredible. The Lake witnessed a true rock concert on this night. A fitting grand finale to a fantastic Summer Concert Series.
