Sundown Set to Rock the Lake!

The Harrison summer concert series continues Thursday night with a performance from The Sundown Band in West Harrison.

The SUNDOWN Band has been performing their style of southern rock since 1976. If a few years of playing music you love makes you smile, then Ronnie Pauls, founding member and lead guitarist of New York's premiere southern rock band, SUNDOWN, must be smiling every day. He's been leading Sundown on stage for 36 years!

Along with the current lineup of Steve Mitchell on Guitar, Fred Andreassi on Bass, Pete Gallinari on keyboards, and Keith "Bam Bam" Michaels on drums, Sundown brings an energy to the stage that can't be put into words.

The SUNDOWN Band performs southern rock classics from bands such as Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, The Outlaws, Marshall Tucker, Molly Hatchet, and ZZ Top, to name a few. The musicianship, showmanship, and sound is second to none. One of the highlights of their shows are the  guitar exchanges between Ronnie and Steve, against the driving rythm provided by Fred, Keith and Pete.

Sundown is set to rock Silver Lake Sunday, July 26 at 6 PM. West Harrison Village Green.

NOTE: Because of expected rain, this concert was moved from Thursday evening to Sunday evening. The article now reflects that change.
