Rock with a twist of metal, is how local band Counterfeit society describe themselves. On the verge of releasing their debut disc, all band members presently reside in the Valhalla area. A couple of the band members have Harrison roots. James and Christian Gisondi , the rythm section, have grandparents in Harrison. Their father, Tony , grew up in town.
Jon Maselli and Vinny Tiberi round out the band on guitars. No one in the band is over the age of 25. They bring a clean, fresh sound to the stage.
As they break onto the club scene, the band is building a steady fan base. Counterfeit Society is set to Rock Riis Park Wednesday July 25, at 7 PM.
