A Farm Wine Dinner at John Jay Homestead

Join us for a food and wine feast featuring local farms and Oregon wineries, with Lesley Sutter and ConsciousWine, this Saturday, October 20th, at John Jay Homestead. It's going to be quite a party!

Who wants to join me for a food and wine feast at John Jay Homestead Saturday night?  Lesley Sutter (from The Flying Pig) is doing the cooking, and ConsciousWine is providing the wines, from Oregon.  We're gathering at 5:30 for cocktails in the garden at sunset, and then into the barn for a sit-down dinner.

I cherish many things about living in a small town such as Katonah.  The proximity to rural, bucolic beauty.  The abundance of local food.  The opportunities to celebrate community and friendship in our many meeting places.  This dinner celebrates all those things and more.

If you want to disccover some hard-to-find wines, enjoy Lesley's cooking now that the Flying Pig is no more, reconnect with old friend and make some new friends, and do it in a fun and funky setting, please participate this Saturday night.

Tickets are $155 and a significant share goes straight to the Frinds of John Jay Homestead, making sure the farmers market, the new welcome center, and all their incredible cultural programming can continue to thrive in the coming year.

For all the details, visit ConsciousWine.com or leave me a comment below and I'll replay ASAP!

And stay tuned for more fun and unusual community activities I'm dreaming up!
