Reader's Choice: Favorite Pet Groomers

Where do you like to bring your pets?

Patch's "Best of" series continues as this week's Readers' Choice poll focuses on Pet groomers.

We know when you need an experienced auto repair mechanic, a knowledgeable electrician or a reliable babysitter, you turn to your friends and neighbors. So we turn to you to share information with your fellow Patch readers—these features are designed to be a fun and completely friendly expression of our collective passion for great food, great service or a great product, all close to home.

After declaring support for and for their desserts, in town, you can now cast your vote for your favorite pet groomers in the area. Tell us your favorite spots to take Fido for a spa day or a quick wash and manicure.

We've got a list started below—but if you'd like to add your own suggestion, add it in the comments and we'll add it to the poll.

- Katonah

- Pound Ridge
Woof n' Wash - Mt. Kisco
Reining Cats and Dogs - Mt Kisco

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor (please leave positive comments below to assist), based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places.

Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Pawfection is the best place to bring your dog. Not only is Tara and the staff compassionate about what they do, they go above and beyond to help their customers in any way! Tara has the biggest heart and would do anything for any customer pr dog, especially a dog in need. Pawfection is the only place to trust!!

Pawfection is the best! Our Zig is a rescue and has several "issues." Pawfection was the *third* groomer we tried. (With the other two, as soon as I arrived back home I received a call asking me to "remove" our dog from their premises. (Apparently, Zig doesn't enjoy the grooming process.) At Pawfection, Tara was able to calm Zig and lovingly connect with him while grooming him and clipping his nails. She's the absolute best! Zig is still a "special" case, but he's come a very, very long way as a result of Tara's loving care. Zig probably still would prefer that we go nowhere (i.,e., skip grooming altogether :-) ) -- but I won't go anywhere else.

Can't say enough good things about Pawfection! Tara's dedication goes beyond grooming in all the compassionate things that she does with rescue, adoption and fostering. When my dog hears he's going to Tara's - not kidding- he picks up his leash and runs for the car. That says it all!!! Love all of you.
