The theatre, which is located in downtown Port Chester, is set to re-open after a mulit-million renovation on Sept. 4 with a performance by and his band.

Already have tickets for The Roots (9/21), Regina Spektor and Ben Folds Five. Plan on getting Galactic (amazing New Orleans funk), and two nights of MMJ! Intrigued by Sleigh Bells, especially since it will be cheaper, and am definitely tempted to get the Fiona Apple tickets. Yes, this theatre is going to make me go broke! I'll be poor and happy though!

This is absolutely terrific that this Capital Theater has made this come back. My BIG concern now is the apparent spike in crime that is being reported in the Port Chester Patch. Port Chester has a good Police Department and I understand that they can't be everywhere. However, if this village is attempting to make a "COME BACK" from the dead and using things like the Marina and the Capital Theater to do so maybe we: 1. Need MORE Police on the streets 2. A shift in Patrol Tactics 3. A beefed up Anti-Crime Unit 4. More Police leadership on the streets Any elected officials reading this? I'd like to hear your comments please.
