Harrison Library Announces 9th Annual Story Writing Contest for Grades 1 to 6

Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Avenue, Announces the 9th Annual Story Writing Contest for Grades K through 6.  Stories must be handwritten, doubled space and 1 to 3 pages.  Please include your name, grade and phone number on a cover page. Choose your own topic – family, pets, friends, school, etc.  Choose your own genre – fiction, non-fiction, mystery, science fiction, etc.  Need an idea?  Ask Miss Bonnie in the Children’s Room.  Deadline is April 29, 2012.  Prizes will be awarded in May.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Harrison Public Library.  Call the Children’s Room for more information at 914/835-0324.
