Whiz Kid: Kaitlin Mallinson

This week's Whiz Kid is another standout athlete who recently accepted an athletic scholarship.

Each week Harrison Patch wants to spotlight someone you know who is doing great things! We will recognize their accomplishments through our new Whiz Kids column.

This week we chose Harrison resident and national track star Kaitlin Mallinson.

Whiz Kids' Accomplishments: Kaitlin is a two-time track All-American and finalist in the Penn Relay Championship. She is senior at the Ursuline School in New Rochelle, but lives in Harrison.

Key to Awesomeness: Hard work and dedication. Kaitlin has been running varsity track since the seventh grade, setting a variety of individual and relay records. She has also served as a captain on the Ursuline School's varsity track team this year, humbly crediting her coaches and teammates for a lot of her success.
