How did I guess the picture? Mostly from the clue. It suggested to me three possible streets (Central Ave/Rte 100, Tarrytown Road/Rte 119 or Post Road/Rte 22). The island was particularly narrow, and the cross-walk was at an angle. I thought it might be and island where Post Road turns towards mamaroneck ave in front of Westchester Pavilian, but there is no cross-walk there. Then I thought either on central ave by the Diner or on Rte 119 over by staples (where everyone turns left off Aqueduct Rd to turn towards 287). I actually thought it was the island there, since Aqueduct Road is angled and there is a cross walk across 119. Google Maps helped.
