Today's Question: How Do You Measure Education?

Our new feature asks readers to weigh-in on a different topic every day.

A recent Washington Post analysis has ranked Harrison as the top school in Westchester County when comparing the number of students to number of advanced-level tests taken by a graduating class. Meanwhile, an analysis by Westchester Magazine last year placed Harrison as the worst out of 40 municipalities in the county to live, partially because of its schools, which the magazine gave a 3 rating out of 10.

The Washington Post rankings, created by columnist Jay Mathews doesn't claim to establish the quality of education given at each school, but does "reveal the level of a high school’s commitment to preparing average students for college," according to the Washington Post article.

The Westchester Magazine article claims to have used public data to come to its conclusion.
