There is something for everyone to do in the Hudson Valley this week.

. Dec. 11. All day. Greenburgh Nature Center in collaboration with the Westchester/Yonkers Model Railroad Club presents the seventh-annual model train show, “Trains–Your Ticket to the Great Outdoors.” Greenburgh Nature Center, 99 Dromore Rd., Scarsdale.

Dec. 11. 9 a.m. Jewelry, clothing, makeup and skincare products, Judaica, and more for sale at Temple Shaaray Tefila’s Holiday Boutique. Jewish literature for all ages is featured at the Temple’s Book Fair, including fiction, non-fiction, cook books and children's activity books. Free. Dec. 11. 10 a.m. The Schoolhouse Theater presents this show in conjunction with the mainstage production of Arthur Laurents’ "The Time of the Cuckoo." The building is transformed into an Italian theme with colorful paintings of Venetian waterways by Barbara Dunn of Armonk, and rooftops from Medieval walled villages by Tova Snyder of Port Chester. Dec. 15. 10 a.m. Post Road School’s PTA hosts Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary fame at a storytime and book fair. Yarrow performs at 7 p.m. The fund-raiser benefits fifth-grade graduation activities including yearbook, field day, and graduation T-shirts. Barnes & Noble, City Center, 230 Main St., White Plains.
