Give Tiffany a Holiday Home

This week's pet of the week from the Westchester Humane Society is Tiffany the cat.

"Come celebrate the holidays with “Miss December.”

Tiffany, a striking brown tabby is our "Playmate of the Month". She doesn’t wear fancy makeup, sexy clothes, high heels or lots of jewelry. Her taste – and needs – are much simpler.

Her constant good cheer, enjoyment of life and playful nature are very much enjoyed by her adoring fans. We’ve all come to love her "joie de vivre". Watch her bat those fake mice around and attack the catnip toys until she shows them who is boss! Life is never boring with this little girl around. Tiffany is full of surprises; she investigates, watches, and studies all and has a very active imagination! She throws herself fully into every move and moment of exploration. For that reason, she should go to a home with older kids and adults.

Tiffany knows the best is yet to come. Her diary reads pretty much the same every day: “Played with my toys, took a nap, saw some people come and go, but I am still waiting for a home...maybe tomorrow.”

This endearing tabby has been at the shelter for more than a year. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about her history, but we do know that she prefers to be an only cat. For this reason, poor Tiffany has been in a cage for much of her lifetime. She looks longingly at potential new families, and tries to keep her spirits up. All the catnip toys and treats in the world can’t compensate for the warmth of a loving hand or the joy that a place to run free will bring her. She is playful, affectionate and loves attention. Her eye contact brings the humans closer, but the look of disappointment when they walk away is heartbreaking.

Will YOU be the one bring back the sparkle to her eyes? Please come and meet Tiffany - she would come to you if she could.

The adoption fee is $80.00. Tiffany has been spayed, received her yearly vaccinations and dewormer, and tested negatively for FIV/feline leukemia. She's good to go!  A sweet and appreciative companion awaits you.
