It's Thursday and you're still looking for weekend plans? We've got you covered!

Got your sights set on the weekend? Here are six ideas to get your planning started.

Where/When: 220 Boston Post Rd, Rye (Marshlands Conservancy). Sept. 3, 1pm.

Why Go: Experience the wet beauty of the conservancy's ponds from within dip nets. Old clothes and long pants are recommended.

Where/When: 220 Boston Post Rd, Rye (Marshlands Conservancy). Sept. 4, 7:30 am.

Why Go: Bring binoculars to view migrating warblers and other birds on the move for fall.

Where/When: , 1 Tamarack Rd, Port Chester. Sept. 2, 6:30-9:30pm.

Why Go: This outdoor movie event will feature the film "Despicable Me" on a 10-foot inflatable screen.  Admission is FREE and popcorn and water will be provided!

Price: Free!

Where/When: , 140 Midland Ave, Port Chester (and other participating restaurants around Port Chester). Sept. 2.

Why Go: The First Fridays campaign is an effort to encourage families to eat at least one meal a week together. The campaign has enlisted several Port Chester eateries that will offer discounts to families who present their ‘It Takes a Village’ key card on those dates. So far, participating restaurants are—Garden Catering, P & D, Panera, Acuario, Euro-Asian Bistro, Restaurant Salvadoreño, T & J, Tandoori, Applebee’s and Cousin Frankie’s. Key cards are being distributed to families whose children attend the Port Chester School District.

5. 

Where/When: , 11 City Pl, White Plains. Sept. 4, 6 p.m.

Why Go: Contestants will be judged in swimsuit, evening gown, and personal interview.The winners will advance to the State Pageant where they will compete for the prestigious titles of Miss New York USA and Miss New York Teen USA 2012 in January.

Pricing: Buy tickets here for $35 in advance or $45 on the day of the performance.
