Flu Cases Beginning Seasonal March Upward

It's flu season again and while not the worst on record so far, cases are cropping up all over the country, with federal health officials reporting "high" activity in many areas across the U.S.

Here is the map Google created to track flu trends across the country.

How to protect yourself according the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

  • Get a flu shot
  • Practice prevention. Avoid sick people. Don't go into work or school if you suspect you have the flu. Wash your hands.
  • Take flu anti-viral drugs if your doctor tells you to.
