LGBTQ Youth Needed to Produce Public Radio Program
OutCasting, Public radio’s LGBTQ youth program, is seeking LGBTQ youth and straight allies in high school or college to join the show's all-volunteer production team. OutCasting is produced by Media for the Public Good, Inc. (MFPG), a Westchester-based nonprofit public media organization. The show is broadcast nationally on the Pacifica Radio Network. OutCasting explores a wide range of issues relevant to LGBTQ youth and beyond. It reaches a general audience on a national scale and provides an opportunity to enlighten the public about issues. It is also a resource for LGBTQ people, particularly youth. Youth participants must be prepared to make a weekly commitment to working on the show at the MFPG studio in northeast Yonkers, NY.
