Harrison Public Library to be Renovated

The Future is Almost Here!

The Harrison Public Library Board of Trustees is excited to announce that the Harrison Public Library, Halperin Building will be undergoing a renovation! This ambitious initiative will transform our library into a state-of-the-art facility that people of all ages will enjoy.

The Halperin Building will be closed from Saturday, August 30, 2014 through June 2015 and the collection will be unavailable. However, the West Harrison Branch will be open extended hours. All Harrison items may be returned to the West Harrison Branch or to any other public library in Westchester. We will continue to offer some of the Halperin Building’s popular programs and are in the process of securing locations for them in downtown Harrison. Remember, a Harrison library card allows you to use any of the public libraries in Westchester. As always, patrons may search the catalog, reserve items, download e-books and audio books at www.harrisonpl.org.

We encourage our patrons to visit us at the West Harrison Branch! Learn more, follow our progress, and participate in the transformation of the library by visitingharrisonpl.org/renovation, calling (914) 835-0324, signing up for our email newsletter, and by following us on Facebook and Twitter. We look forward to serving our patrons at the renovated Library!
