WJCS Helps Women Design Their Lives for 2013

Setting objectives for achieving success is great, but how to accomplish them is another matter. Dobbs Ferry resident Patty Franco, Consultant, Learning Dynamics, shared strategies for achieving goals with participants at a recent Women-Helping-Women workshop sponsored by Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS). Called “Designing Your Life for 2013,” the workshop aimed to help attendees organize a 2013 game plan by creating their own Vision Boards using pictures from magazines that inspired them. Among the participants was Ariadne Pilarinos of West Harrison (pictured).  During the past year, more than 400 women seeking jobs have attended Women-Helping-Women workshops, which are offered free, thanks to funding from the Leir Chartable Foundations. A new workshop series is slated to begin in March. For details, contact W-H-W Project Director Lenore Rosenbaum at 761-0600, X308 or lrosenbaum@wjcs.com
