The Friends of the Harrison Public Library are sponsoring "a taste of Harrison" to benefit the Harrison Public Library
on May 20, 2012 from 11:30am to 3pm.
This is a walking tour of the downtown Harrison restaurants who have agreed to donate a sample of their cuisine to participants who make a $20 donation to the Friends of the Library (children $10/under age 12). The participants will be identified with a special wristband.
To order your tickets/wristbands, please call Mena Gambacorta 835-0544 or Angela Kaufman 835-2429 or Connie Perrotta 315-1922, email: cpcpone@yahoo.com. At the same time, make your check payable to the Friends of the Harrison Public Library and mail to Mena Gambacorta, 80 Calvert Street, Harrison, NY 10528 and be sure to include your name, address, phone number and number of tickets/wristbands. Pick up your wristbands on the day of the event at our sign in table in front of the Halstead and Harrison Avenue Commuter Parking Lot.
Almost all the restaurants in downtown Harrison have signed up for this event, and a final list will be released shortly.
There will be ample parking in the Commuter Parking Lots and Supervisor/Mayor Ronald Belmont is arranging for the Harrison Senior Transport minivan to be available.
