Our girls athletes are:

Dana Annattone

Few members of the class of 2011 had as much school spirit or charisma as Dana Annattone. As a senior she was elected captain of the cheerleading team and competed on the squad in both the fall and winter seasons. Under Annattone’s leadership the team qualified for the Universal Cheerleaders Association National Championships in Disney World after placing well in a local competition at the Westchester County Center. Annattone finished both seasons as a scholar athlete and in the fall she was named second team all-section while earning the team’s coaches award.

Jessica Magnotta

A five-year starter for the school’s softball team, Jessica Magnotta spent her senior season breaking career records for the Huskies. Just this year she took over as the school's all-time leader in hits, stolen bases and runs.

Magnotta has competed for the school’s basketball and volleyball teams in the past but as senior dedicated her year to the softball season. While shattering the Harrison record books Magnotta captained the team to a 16-4 record and a playoff appearance. As a shortstop Magnotta was known for having stellar defensive skills as she rarely made an error in the field and she was equally as impressive at the plate. This year the senior had a batting average of .439 while collecting 30 runs and 29 RBI. Her defense, offense and leadership were good enough to land her on the all-section team.

Andrea Moschetta

Injuries played a big part in Andrea Moschetta’s senior season, but she came back and made an impact for the school both on the court and in the field. As a captain of the Husky soccer team she was an experienced member of the team’s goal-scoring attack, but switched to defense during her senior year to help the team. Even with limited scoring opportunities, Moschetta managed to find the back of the net once this year.

The senior was also a captain to the school’s basketball team and, despite a few tough injuries, Moschetta made her impact felt as the court general and point guard for the team. Moschetta was a scholar athlete during both seasons and she was an all-league selection for soccer during the spring.

Sofia San Marco

Sofia San Marco was a leader for the Harrison attack in two sports this season. In the fall she was equal parts scorer and distributor as one of the field hockey team’s co-captains. In the spring she was one of the lacrosse team’s captains and a powerful offensive threat. Though she was a very good lacrosse player, field hockey is where the senior received the majority of her awards. This year San Marco was a scholar athlete during the fall and was voted on to the all-league and all-elite teams in the same season.

Nicole Tenner

Harrison could not have asked for a bigger team player in 2011 than Nicole Tenner. During the fall she gave up individual statistics when the soccer coaching staff asked her to switch from attack to defense for the betterment of the team. Tenner, a soccer co-captain used her defensive skills to help lead Harrison into the playoffs. Her work on the soccer field was awarded at the end of the year with an all-league selection.

In the winter the Huskies leaned hard on Tenner early in the basketball season as several key contributors to the team were out with injuries for significant chunks of time. The co-captain was often expected to be the team’s point guard and leading scorer for Harrison to be competitive.
