This has been an unbelievably crazy 2 weeks for Harrison! So sad!!

pray for not only that poor boy who this happened to but the teens family because something like this will destroy and divide that family forever because of what that teen did

Shame on the Journal News. What does Coach Artie have to do with this, he is not the father of this child. Which leads me to the question why isn't the father's name in the paper and not Artie's??? You journalist are so quickly to spread the dirt that you don't even get the facts right. There are mistakes in the article such as the address but I see you made sure to get people's attention by the using the above headline and making sure you put a town employees name to exasterbate the situation.. This is a tragic, herendous, heartbreaking ordeal and I just pray that the accused gets the help he needs and the poor boy this was happening to can get the help he requires and someday will be able to sleep at night without nightmares. How heartbreaking. Is this what this world is coming to? We will have to put nanny cams in our houses and survilance camera's on our properties? Can anyone be trusted? This town is going to the crapper Clark.

We should all take a moment of silence no matter what religion we all are and say a prayer for the victim and the family. They need it through this difficult time. I hope it all works out for them. Such a traumatic event.

What a week for Harrison HS students.

AMR are you that ignorant to say the only reason these two kids will remember it is because of the town? A boy was sexually assaulted he will probably never be able to sleep with the light off and that's the comment you make. Listen families can't choose who commits a crime. This was a disgusting hannous act and a family will forever be destroyed. The poor parents of the victim will always doubt why they chose a 17 year old boy to be a babysitter of their son. Stop with the skeletons in the closet. I'm sorry if your friends with the suspects family but he should have went to jail instead of being out in 3 thousand dollars bail. He would have gotten a little bit of what he deserves. Our town judges are horrible to not remand him to the jail. Total disgrace on their part. Put him in the slammer where he belongs.

Everyone needs to mind their business -NO ONE KNOWS the truth - this is a frabricated story from a child who is disturbed...NO NEED to publish a 17 year olds name and such sex acts in the Journal News either - thats even incorrect! First of all, im not ignorant I have been a resident of Harrison my entire life and quite honestly once someone does something wrong you will always be remembered and known for that incident, for example people will say "Remember him? He's the kid that had that incident years ago." Clearly, you have another mind set or maybe your an angel but your entitled. But your making up your own accusations because you don't know the truth unless your GOD and your not. You listen to the news and newspaper but if you went to college and lived in the real world everyone knows how far that goes. That's why we have a justice system so that people can get their own stories out instead of people like you just making your assumptions. If there were more people like you who are "one sided" and assume something that they know NOTHING about then everyone would be in jail for just walking on the wrong side of the street. No one is condoning anything but leave outside information OUT, as an adult you make your own choices. Another thing, if your from Harrison you know that people have skeleton in their closet and you probably do too and people probably know about it, so who are you to justify that for yourself or anyone else? Face it, if you cant take the heat get the hell out of the kitchen.

This is a really horrible situation all around - you should have a little more respect for all of those invloved - times like these, ESPECIALLY with two young children, we should let the familes deal with this the best they can in private, without OUTSIDE OPINIONS such as yours - which is not factual by the way.

and rightfully so.. but people need to open their minds and find out what their dealing with before they judge any situation. therefore without the nonsense and made up stories these families will deal with it privately.

Okay your opinion is clearly stated and great you know the law. But your still creating a story in your mind that you know nothing about. Once again, peoples personal lives are being aired out, that was years ago and no one remembered until you just brought it up. No one cares anymore and no one cared then about a day in the life of Artie Triolo. So, if anyone is a die hard husky fan right now, you need to re evaluate your lifestlye because if you are "proud to live in harrison" you wouldnt be degrading others who live here nor would you be making more of a mess of the situation.

Whomever is deleting comments here other than "AMR's" comments - you should think again, his/hers comments are not going to be tolerated reagrding this matter - what if it were his/her kid being fasly accused - hit a soft spot there huh! Just everyone, mind your opinions until we see justice prevale and this will clearly illustrate - the accused being totally innocent. Be patient all!

not sure if its another rumor but i heard there was some type of altercation outside the teens house tonight involving a family member in the home. Some high school kids were beeping and yelling outside there home late at night and it escalated i hope this isntt trueee they should really leave them alone
